Veskyr Holdfast - Emberclaw Warren

Veskyr Holdfast is the Skarn you find already in position when the trouble begins. A spear-and-shield knight of the Emberclaw Warren, Veskyr stands at attention with the deliberate, conserving stillness of a creature that understands exactly how much energy a fight requires and refuses to waste any of it before the fight arrives. His plate is polished, his bracers buckled, his haft levelled. He is the gate-warden, the chokepoint-holder, the disciplined centre of any Emberclaw line. Veskyr has stood watch at warren entrances since he was barely tall enough to see over his shield, and there is, at present, no recorded instance of anyone passing him without permission.
