Bound into the service of the Gravebound Reliquary, Vane was remade with stone-sediment from the mines of Black Hollow fused into his legs, anchoring him with the brutal permanence of tomb architecture. He is slow to march and nearly impossible to topple, a grim archer transformed into something closer to a walking weapon-emplacement than a man. In battle, Vane does not maneuver so much as endure, standing fast while his arrows answer those who stray too near the will of the dead.
