OUR STORY

Characters born from imagination, sculpted for the tabletop.

Our story

For as long as we can remember, tabletop games have been part of our lives.

Long before this company existed, there were kitchen tables covered in dice, character sheets worn soft with use, and stacks of rulebooks that grew taller with every new edition. Some of us have been rolling dice since the days of first edition Dungeons & Dragons, when the worlds were rougher, the art was stranger, and imagination filled in the rest.

Miniatures were always part of that magic.

We grew up collecting the old Ral Partha figures, studying every sculpt, every pose, every tiny detail that hinted at a story waiting to unfold. Those little metal characters became heroes, villains, wandering mercenaries, and nameless monsters that haunted countless campaigns. Over the years we collected dice, rulebooks, modules, and manuals from nearly every era of the hobby, each one another doorway into a different world.

Tabletop gaming has been the thread running through decades of our lives. It’s where friendships were forged, where late-night campaigns stretched into the early morning hours, and where entire worlds were built from imagination, dice rolls, and a handful of painted figures standing on a battle map.

Second Attack grew out of that lifelong love of the hobby.

Our Philosophy

Every miniature begins the same way our campaigns always did, with a story.

The characters, creatures, and factions we create are meant to feel like they already belong to a living world. A miniature should do more than sit on a base. It should hint at a past, suggest a conflict, and invite players to weave it into their own stories at the table.

We design our models with the same spirit that fueled our earliest campaigns: curiosity, imagination, and a deep respect for the worlds tabletop players build together.

As the range grows, so will the world behind it, evolving piece by piece through new releases, new characters, and new stories waiting to be told.

Our Table

This company exists because of the tabletop community that shaped us.

For decades we’ve been players, collectors, painters, and storytellers alongside the same community we now create for. The best ideas in this hobby have always come from the table itself, where players argue about lore, invent new characters and homebrew items, and imagine what could exist next.

We want this world to grow the same way.

As our miniature lines expand, we hope the players, painters, and game masters who use them will help shape where the story goes next. The worlds we build are meant to live at your tables as much as ours.

After all, every great campaign starts with the same thing:

A handful of dice.
A few figures on the map.
And a story waiting to begin.
