Vix is a specialist in the heavy, liquid runoff that settles in the deep-earth trenches of the Twilight Basin. His staff is topped with a Shattered Calyx-Vial, a glass vessel filled with a churning, bioluminescent fluid harvested from the industrial "sumps" of the Ironwood Wastes. Unlike the pressurized vapors used by others in his contingent, Vix focuses on the weight of the waste itself. By striking the butt of his staff into the soil, he triggers a chemical reaction in the fluid, causing it to overflow and saturate the ground. This reaction instantly liquefies the earth into a dense, bubbling slurry of bone-dust and fungal rot, creating a heavy mire that anchors enemies in place for the Skulkin infantry to pick apart.
