Kaan is the living spirit of mortal defiance, a wandering conqueror who carved his name across Lunoria to prove that a man with the will to stand needs nothing else to stand on. He carries no sanctified blade and wears no blessing. Fangmother is mortal-forged. Worldsplitter is hammered for the breaking of things that ought not to stand. Where channellers raise their wards and call down borrowed power, Kaan answers with mortal muscle and a will the cosmos cannot move, and invocations falter near him, and wards thin, and the heavens reach for him and find nothing to hold. He bows to no banner. He answers to no authority but his own. He leaves a trail of broken crowns across the world as proof that the strength of a man's will is the only power that truly endures.
